PRESS RELEASE: Jem Southam Joins Impressive Line-up For Arena Seminar
Arena Photographers are pleased to announce that internationally acclaimed landscape photographer Jem Southam has been provisionally booked to appear at the 2008 Arena Seminar, to be held 16th – 18th May 2008.
Southam’s work explores the many changes acting on the land in the South and West of England. Working in large format colour, his gentle work often revisits locations, noting the subtle changes that take place. Currently Professor of Media and Photography at Plymouth University, his work has been widely published and received many prestigious awards.
He joins an impressive line up of speakers previously announced for the seminar: Magnum photographer Mark Powers, photographer and film-maker David Scheinmann, award winning portrait and wedding photographer Kay Halliwell-Sutton and Arena’s own Dave Mason, and Tony and Eva Worobiec.
Bookings are currently being taken for the seminar. Take advantage of the early booking discounts by booking before 2008. Accommodation is based on shared twin rooms, so bring a friend!
