Arena Newsletter November 2007
Welcome to the Arena Newsletter for November 07.
Seminar - It's been quite a busy month for Arena, with the biggest news being the announcement of details for the 2008 Arena Seminar. The seminar has became an unmissable event for many people, and we are proud of it's reputation for quality and excellence. We have had many famous photographers come to speak at the seminar in the past, and this year is no exception. For all the latest news about the seminar, visit the seminar page and take advantage of our early booking discounts available this year. More details are on the Seminar page.
Books - Some of our members have been very busy with book releases recently. We have book news from Alan Hayward, Tim Rudman and Tony and Eva Worobiec. In addition, a good cross section of Arena is represented in the new RPS Portfolio 1. For more information please visit the News page.
Magazine - Also on the subject of books, we have a new magazine article about books recommended by some Arena members. Perhaps you might like to put one of these books on your Christmas wish list? You can find the article here.
Website – We have a number of new links that have been added over the past month. Visit our extensive links page.
Also on the Web – Magnum is sixty years old this month, which is as good as any reason to visit their superb site (navigate to Inmotion for some excellent multimedia shows). Or you might like to order their mammoth new book ‘Magnum Magnum’.
The Guardian has recently run its Photography Week. If you missed their print articles, you might like to catch up at Guardian Online.
Finally, BBC4 is screening an excellent series ‘The Genius of Photography’. The programme is accompanied by a very good book by Gerry Badger. Visit the BBC website
Best wishes,
Arena Photographers
